Summer Temps in May

It gonna be a gorgeous weekend up here in Tahoe. Come enjoy it with us!

With temps forecast to be in the 70s and even 80s this weekend its time to start thinking golf! Here is an update with 2009 scheduled openings and deals.

Brockway Golf Course (Kings Beach) - Open for the Season
Ponderosa Golf Course (Truckee) - Open for the Season
Whitehawk Golf Course (Clio 45 min north of Truckee) - Open for the Season
Tahoe City Golf Course (Tahoe City) - Open for he Season
Northstar Golf Course - Driving range open May 15th, Course to open May 22nd
Old Greenwood (Truckee) - Open May 15th
Coyote Moon (Truckee) - Open May 22nd
Tahoe Donner (Truckee) - Open May 22nd

Whitehawk is currently offering all you can play for $95 and Tahoe city is offering play for as little as $25. Please call golf courses for more info and tee times.

Another great welcome to summer warm weather event is the Lake Tahoe Water Trail Spring Paddle this Sunday. Start with the group at Sand Harbor and paddle down to the Thunderbird Lodge for an optional tour. Cost is $20 per person and includes lunch. Sign up today by calling 530-544-5486.

There is a new addition to the flotilla on the Tonopalo beach, Stand Up Paddleboards. Check them out, they are all the rage these days. Known to be a great core workout while having fun on the water these are now at your disposal through Tonopalo. Check in with the front desk to get the gear and a quick lesson.

The buoys are in the water as is the Tonopalo Formula. Get on the lake if you have the chance. It's a great time of year to be out there!
