Looks like another gorgeous early summer weekend in Tahoe! My one piece of advise this week would be to get out and play early. We have seen various degrees of afternoon weather coming through the sierra starting between 1-4 in the afternoon and including everything from dark blustery conditions to some light scattered clouds. The forecast is for the same throughout the weekend. So get out and enjoy the early morning sun and heat just in case!
Get out and golf this week! Northstar is offering 18 holes for only $39 this week as part of customer appreciation days. Advanced tee times are required. Offer is good June 1st-June 4th. Call the pro shop at 530-562-3290 for reservations.Hiking - Crowds are still down, the trails aren't too dusty yet, and there is still some great spring runoff to get out and see. Try the Shirley Canyon hike in Squaw, or Eagle Falls and Eagle Lake above Emerald Bay. Both great early summer hikes. Visit The Weekly's website for directions. Or give me a call anytime.
The mornings have been really calm recently. Great for kayaking or paddleboarding off the beach at Tonopalo.
