Summer is in full swing and there is more than enough to do to keep you busy for your week here. These are just a few ideas..... Scroll down to find additional info on Hiking, Rafting, Dining, and much more! Have a great week.

EVENTS

Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival - Yes, it is here again starting Wednesday July 9th. The festival will be highlighted by 2 plays, Richard III and A Midsummer Nights Dream. This is one of the premier summer events in Lake Tahoe and is not to be missed. Sit on the beach at Sand Harbor with a glass of wine and some amazing food served by the events vendors (our pack your own picnic dinner) and enjoy Shakespeare on Lake Tahoe! Call 800-74-SHOWS or visit http://www.laketahoeshakespeare.com/tickets for tickets.

Paddleboarding is a sport that seems to be sweeping the nation and Lake Tahoe has not been left out. There are two SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding) races on Tahoe this summer ( The Jam to the Dam takes place this weekend) and you will see these boards for rent at marina's and kayak shops around the lake. So, give one a try if you have the chance. You can rent from Tahoe Paddle and Oar in Kings Beach starting at $15 per hour.

Don't forget about the free concerts and movie nights at Commons Beach in Tahoe City. Check the event calendar for listings and showtimes.
